Transactional Leadership
Transactional leadership which is driven by praise and reward. There is a clear hierarchy however the leader allows the team to take responsibility to complete the task/drill and expects the team to do so. The hierarchy is sorted during the early stages of the season/training sessions, usually with a contract signed by players and possibly management.
The requirements are stated early and the punishments will be named too at this stage. there is a key area of praise and reward to try and increase productivity. This is especially good with younger children and younger teams as it is a good way to get their focus with some lollies or chocolate.
